We had a 3 1/2 hour wait in Dubai for our next flight. It was the first time we had been to Dubai. Was 40C at 10.30pm, but we didn’t feel the heat at the airport. We went to the lounge for a few hours and relaxed. Was the best lounge we went in this holiday.
Was good to finally get on the plane, it had been a long day.
We took off 20 mins late at 2.25am, due to the crazy number of planes that take off at this time in the morning. I slept for 6 hrs altogether and Greg 3 hrs. Was a 12 hour flight. We landed at 8pm. Good flight.

We were home around 9pm, was a lovely surprise to see C and she had brought provisions ?. We got to sleep around 1.30am. Our sleeping patterns aren’t quite right yet, but every day gets better.
I am missing the African landscape, such a special place, hopefully we will return to explore some more.
